DOEACC Regional
Office, Patna has been established in the year 2008 having a
space of 1200 sq
feet and functioning as a Regional Office
of DOEACC Society.
Major
Objectives
To function as a Regional Office at DOEACC Society in the Region
Initially to take up Certificate Course in Computer Concepts
To undertake proactive role for promotion of the DOEACC activities
To act as the
DOEACC interface with DOEACC Accrediated- Institutes and Students
in the
Region
To take up
DOEACC Counselling for facilitating the accrediation, registration,
examination
& other related matters
To act as a
catalyst between DOEACC Society and industries in the region and to
provide
assistance in placemnt of DOEACC Qualifiers
To act as DOEACC interface with DOEACC Accredited – Institutes and Students in
the
Region
Acted as DOEACC interface with DOEACC Accredited – Institutes and Students in
the .
Region
Carried out the task of sale of examination forms for O/A/B/C level examinations
to
DOEACCAccredited – Institutes and Students in the Region.
Conducted two workshops on Information Security Education & Awareness under ISEA
project of DIT with the participation of
students
and staff of DOEACC accredited institutes, IT
professionals and also of School children.
To take up DOEACC Counseling for facilitating the accreditation, registration,
examination
& other related matters
Taken up DOEACC counseling for facilitating the accreditation,
registration, examination
& other related matters.
Provided counseling regarding accreditation to various institutes from various
districts of
Bihar and many of them started the process.
Also provided
counseling for registration & examination to people of region
visiting
Regional Office and also through telephone, email etc.
To act as a Catalyst
between DOEACC Society and industries in the region and to
provide assistance in placement of DOEACC Qualifiers
Interaction
with employers from private/public sector for adoption of DOEACC
qualifiers. The
list includes Aqutech Solutions, STS, INDUS, TCS, BELTRON,
Various
Departments of Bihar Government, ISS, SER Pvt. Ltd. etc. Many of them
responded
positively.
Any Other
assignment entrusted by the Executive Director, DOEACC
Inspection of
NCPUL Centers and coordinated for conduction of
interview for
selection of faculty for NCPUL Project of DOEACC Society.or selection of
faculty for NCPUL Project of DOEACC Society.
Initially to take up Certificate Course in Computer Concepts (CCC)
CCC Course is continually being conducted.
Additional activities
Submitted a
proposal to The Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department,
Govt. of Bihar
for Examination & Certification in CCC of BPL candidates being
trained by UDD
under Swarn Jayanti Sahari Rojgar Yojna and obtained a work
contract for
Examination & Certification more than 3500 candidates.
Interaction with
Secretary, General Administration Dept. and Secretary I.T.
Dept. Govt. of
Bihar to adopt CCC as minimum mandatory qualification for
promotion of
State Govt. employee as well as for entry in to state govt.
services. Bihar
government is in final stage for such adoption.
